Tim McDonald went to Donna Park Elementary School, Bedford Junior High and Trinity High School. Tim was a star athlete for Trinity HS 1980-1983 and the HEB Swim Team. In 1982 and 1983, Tim was District and Regional 200 Individual Medley and the 100 backstroke. In 1983, Tim was Texas State Champion in 200 Back Stroke and qualified for the Junior Olympic Trials. When he graduated from Trinity High School as the MVP, he held three school records: 100 Backstroke, 200 Backstroke (Age-Group) and 200 Medley Relay. Today, his 100 backstroke record is still intact at Trinity High School.
Tim went to Texas Wesleyan University on a swimming scholarship where he set two school records in the 100 and 200 backstroke. Tim works with the Keller Youth Association where he has coached flag football, basketball, baseball and softball. Tim is head coach for softball and basketball, as well as, head coach for the All Star softball team. Tim is on the Board of the Keller Youth Association. |
